Order Confirmation & Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order on the Hudson & Monroe New York website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return & Refund Policy.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You accept the return conditions and deadlines outlined below
  • You agree to follow the official return procedure provided by Hudson & Monroe New York
  • In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, this policy, along with order confirmations, tracking records, and prior communications, may be submitted as evidence

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Return Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unworn, unused, and unwashed
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging
  • The item must be in the same condition as received
  • Only reasonable inspection and standard handling are permitted

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • Hudson & Monroe New York reserves the right to refuse returns if items show signs of wear, damage, alteration, misuse, or improper handling

Approved returns are processed within 7 business days after receipt and inspection.


How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email info@hudsonandmonroe.com within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. Include the following:
    • Order number
    • Full name and shipping address
    • Reason for return
    • Photos of the item (required if damaged or defective)
  3. Wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending the item back

Important

  • Do not return items to the original sender unless instructed
  • Unauthorized returns may be refused
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and keeping proof of postage

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 2 days of delivery.

Please email info@hudsonandmonroe.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos or a short video showing the defect

Resolution

  • A replacement may be offered depending on availability
  • In some cases, returning the item may not be required
  • Approved replacements are typically processed within 7–14 business days

Lost, Refused, or Unclaimed Packages

Lost Shipments

If your package appears lost in transit, contact us with your order details. We will assist in filing a claim with the carrier.

If confirmed lost, a replacement or refund will be issued.


Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries

If a package is:

  • Refused upon delivery
  • Not collected
  • Returned due to incorrect or incomplete address

A $35 CAD administrative and shipping fee will be deducted from the refund.


Order Cancellations & Right of Withdrawal

You may request to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving it, in accordance with applicable consumer laws.

Please note:

  • Orders are processed automatically and cannot be stopped once shipped
  • If already shipped, you must wait for delivery and initiate a return
  • To cancel before shipment, email info@hudsonandmonroe.com

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you experience an issue, please contact us before initiating a chargeback.

In case of a dispute, we may provide:

  • Order confirmation
  • Shipping & tracking confirmation
  • Communication history
  • Supporting evidence (photos, etc.)

Filing a chargeback without prior contact may delay resolution and impact future purchases.


Important Information

  • Returns must be sent to our designated fulfillment facility
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Shipping delays
    • Customs clearance issues
    • Carrier-related disruptions

Hygiene Notice:
Items showing signs of wear or unsanitary handling will not be accepted.

Return shipping is not free unless explicitly stated.
